Second trip to the surreal white leather, wood and chrome hospital slash boutique hotel. Same "chain" but different location. Almost next door to Lords with, no lie, valet parking. This one also designed to be comforting and look modern with the wonderful juxtaposition of poisoning Sarah to make her better.

The pre-chemo blood test levels were described as "normal", although somewhat down from last week, nothing to worry about. Alison the oncologist said she felt redundant as Sarah has had almost no side effects. Quite rightly Alison was proud of the fact she was managing the side effects so well. However un-boastful she was I'm pleased she's good at her job. She is very confident the lack of side-effects first time is a strong indicator of what will follow which would be delightful, understatement of the decade.

As for today's chemo everything went to plan, painless and quick. Started at 10:30 and in the cab on the way home by 13:00 laden with the next set of drugs. More of the same from the first time. Nurse Chapman gets to administer another £1,000 injection tomorrow, what could go wrong?

Sarah's a little tired and looks a bit grey, same as last time really. Her hair is starting to go and will probably be significantly depleted by the next session. Some mouth ulcers which she is treating with some expensive mouth wash, saline solution and another drug.

Tobin and Jenna both seem to be dealing with the situation well. Both asking questions, being helpful and I suppose behaving normally, which is what we wanted.

More updates as events warrant. Over and out.
