The little op today didn't go to plan. The 10 minutes became 40. Nothing to worry about as eventually all sorted.

Sarah's feeling a little weary and uncomfortable now the anaesthetic has worn off. Largely due to the fact that the Prof was rummaging around in her chest most of that time....don't even go there.

Why was he doing this? Well essentially there is a port that they inject saline in to inflate the implant, stretching the chest muscle wall. At the end of the chemo/radiotherapy they replace this temporary implant with a permanent one in the space created. This port got lost. Normally only happens twice a year for the professor. Once he finally located the pesky port he put a stitch in to keep it in place.
