5/8th, sounds like some old money malarkey. Or imperial calibration. Either way we're on the back four in golfing terms.

Waiting was the order of today. The taxol regime takes much longer. Three hours to drip the poison into Sarah.

The time was passed more enjoyably on this occasion as I was gazumped by Janet & Fiona who entertained Sarah for a few hours while I nipped off to do some shopping.

The list of possible side effects are "interesting". 20% of people get muscle and bone pain three days later - like having had a hard work out in the gym, but this is pain no gain. There's a lucky 5% who lose toes nails - don't know why it's not finger nails but Alison the oncologist definitely said toes. Taxol is not hair friendly - so yet more upside...no more shaving her legs (for a month or two). Of course no head, eyebrow or eye lash hair might be considered a disadvantage.

It's 9pm now, Sarah has more colour than she had at this stage on the previous combination.

Breath baited waiting to see how the next few days unfurl, Rob.
