We saw the Professor this afternoon and he was pleased with the outcome and how everything is healing. Unsurprisingly but equally unexpected they checked for further cancerous cells but didn't find any.
He then reminded us Sarah needs another Pet CT scan in about a month's time. The Metaplastic nature of her cancer means it's much more likely to recur within the first two years so they need to test regularly.
It's funny how you can forget that we're going back round the testing loop again and again for the foreseeable future.
It's just about a year since Sarah first found the lump and this all began. Doesn't time fly........I can't say when you're having fun but there has been fun in between the rubbishy bits.
