Sarah had the port removed from the implant today. Predictably it didn't go to plan. It was supposed to detach simply and then self seal. However it somehow broke and the saline started to leak inside of her. Which sounds scary but given it's saline it's not an issue. What could have been a problem would have been if they couldn't seal it up. She would have been left lopsided. She is however in a state of equilibrium. Phew. Given they only used a local anaesthetic she came home on the tube and feels fine.
Next up the scans and then the results later in June. Can't wait. Not.
