(whoops I wrote this a few weeks back and didn't publish it at the time).

Another one of those moments that you hope not to have. Strange feelings in risky places. Calls made to doctors. Thankfully quick tests and relief. Although the brain has an amazing capacity to mask the background noise of what might happen the body has a great ability to override that game of hide and seek. Two years ago these feelings wouldn't have meant anything. Now they are an echo of the start of this journey. Definitely better safe than sorry, so every time something unusual happens off we go.

More regular tests are planned for later in March. MRI's and such like.

PS Apologies to Jon for using one of his bands names in vain. Although Various Cruelties' "Chemicals" was the apt sound track to this journey - I'm told it's actually a love song, but sounds like someone going through chemo to me...
