Once more I expose myself to pain beyond my ageing bones in an attempt to raise money for a worthy charity.

During that difficult time we had the best medical care and wonderful support from colleagues, friends and family.

Yet again I'm going to attempt the Ride 100 on Sunday 10th August in support of Breast Cancer Care who offer the moral support needed alongside the Medical.

To provide a little bit of fun for you and pain for me I've thought of a twist.

If you were to sponsor me I will double your money if you correctly predict which side of 6 hours I will be for the ride. In the comments on the sponsorship form indicate whether you think I will or won't beat six hours.

I'll obviously only cough up if you cough up before the event!

Me and my friend Chris' goal is to beat 6 hours for the total ride (not just moving time but the total elapsed time including rests). So you can either encourage us by saying we won't do it or punish us for doing it! It's a win win for you and a lose lose for me ;-)

If you think 6 hours sounds easy...well it isn't! Last year I managed 7:15 in total. Shaving more than an hour off this time is going to be very difficult if the practice rides we've done so far are any indication.

If you do feel like sponsoring me then this is the link. https://www.justgiving.com/RobChapman2014

Thank you for reading this far...Robert.
PS I will limit my personal donation to £500 just in case the sponsorship gets out of hand!
