We're very pleased to report that Sarah has just been given the five year all clear.

Unbelievable how long ago she was first diagnosed. Since the end of her treatment she's had blood tests, scans, sleepless nights and anxious waits for the results every six months. The first 3-4 years were the riskiest period due to her "triple negative stage 3 metaplastic" variety. Although the risk not zero, from now on it will be just once a year for tests.

On Dr's orders we were told to crack open a bottle of champagne. And we never argue with doctors ;-)

We know only too well how lucky we were, along the way we've lost friends and relatives to cancer. Others have had scares and thankfully escaped like we have.
